Yeah, I kinda disappeared for a bit, and I'm sorry about that. But much to my horror, senior year leaves many things to be wrapped up, so I'm wrapping them up right now (while trying to stay in school enough days so I don't get a lovely probation notice). I really want to start posting fiction/art again, and I will as soon as I have any. Also, I want to get around to looking at everything from my watchees, who probably aren't even looking at this post because they think I've forgotten them. Yep, I'm a pretty awful watcher, but this summer's looking to be pretty barren as far as employment's going, so I'll be spending a lot more time online, don't you worry.
ON THE FICTION FRONT:
In progress is my short little romp into the dreamy world of Moonlight-Sacrifice's Darling and Dearest, with a little Wednesday thrown in (because I figured if I put Flint in another fanfiction, everyone would just abandon me). There are still a few chapters left, and no, I'm not counting that wimpy little second chapter. That's just a transition bridge. Good fun...*slumps onto desk*
For teh summerz: Big Stuff. I know I constantly advertise my stories as being big, awesome events, but I never end up finishing them. Well, folks, I want to turn over a new leaf, and this time I'm trying to finish the story (or at least get near the end) before it ever sees the light of the interwebs. It's my Obligatory Summer Romance Story, which I suppose will become tradition...*looks over shoulder at steaming mound that is Starling* I'll finish this one, I promise! I'm already infinitely more excited about it than I was about Starling, because
1) It is called Phantom Punch, in honor of one of my favorite Norwegian singer/songwriter. The story will be based off music, as it's always been, but I want to make sure everyone has a chance to listen to the music that inspired it. Not sure how I'm going to go about that, but I can at least make a recommendation list. Anyway, it's a good representation of the music I listened to in...what was it? 10th grade? When I made up this nutty tale. Good times.
2) It's a story that's been in my head for a loong time, so I know pretty much how I want it to play out, and it's especially fun because I already use these characters in their adult forms--they're teenagers in this story--in my "real" fiction, so it's a fun bit of character exploration. And a romance, but I already told you that. Again, "unconventional" because I can't just sit there and write boy-meets-girl without my brain shutting down.
3) It has two seemingly unconnected storylines! The second of which I will not reveal to you yet, but it's going to be fun. For all Wilson fans, this is a must-see.
So, Phantom Punch: Jack Creston is sixteen, and thinks he's going crazy. When he's saved from embarrassment and possible death by the prettiest, most untouchable girl in the school, however, he realizes he doesn't know what crazy is.
Hope your mid/late Mays are going beautifully.

[link] add me!
It's always nice to sit down and write a story you have had in your head for a long time.
I had Morticians in my head for at least six months before I put finger to keyboard.....did I ever tell you that K (in the original version) used to have blue hair?
All that blathering aside, I really do look forward to seeing it. :B
Congrats on the idear
